Wild & Scenic Film Festival

Wild & Scenic Film Festival will host the Sacred Headwaters film and exhibit, and I will present "Our Home and Native Land", a project that explores the current seismic shift in core national values in Canada—one that reduces the vast northern wilderness that has long been a celebrated part of national identity to a stockpile of natural resources. Vancouver International Film Festival

Join me on February 12th at the Vancouver International Film Festival, where I'll share what it was like to live on Todagin Mountain for five months while shooting a story on one of the largest herds of Stone's sheep before it loses its habitat to mining. Tickets and information.

Sacred Headwaters at MEC

Prints from the Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey exhibit are on display at the Mountain Equipment Co-op store in Vancouver, April 28th to May 27th. Smithers Art Gallery

Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey exhibit will show at the Smithers Art Gallery January 31st to February 25th. Join me at the opening night reception, Friday February 3rd, from 7-9pm.

I will also give a lunchtime presentation on Wednesday February 8th, at 12pm.

Exhibit at Place des Arts

The Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey exhibit opens at the Place des Arts Gallery in Coquitlam, BC. Join me for the opening reception on April 8th at 7pm. This first venue for the travelling exhibit will include 18 images from the Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey project.

Spirit of the River Art Exhibit

The Misty Rivers Art Gallery in Hazelton, BC is hosting the Spirit of the River art exhibit. The inspiration behind the exhibit is the concept of "Fish Nation;" one nation joined through our reliance on, and connection to, our rivers and the salmon that call them home. Two pieces from the Sacred Headwaters, Sacred Journey project will be part of the exhibit. Dec 15 - February 2010 - check it out if you're in the area.

Rocky Mountain Fire will be on exhibit at the Smithsonian Castle Gallery July 1, 2009 to January 17, 2010. Details. From over 17,000 entries from around the world, 50 images were selected for the exhibit titled World View.
